The purpose of family therapy is to help you and your family work through challenges and hard times together. We want to help you not only resolve your issues, but to grow together, create lasting effective communication and come out of the challenges stronger together.
Whether it’s the loss of a family member, behavioral issues, addictions, etc… These stressors can take a toll on the entire family. Our therapists can help your family cope with the issues that are happening today and equip you with the tools to deal with the issues of tomorrow.
During family therapy you will focus on building and healing the relationships within the family. We treat the family as a whole unit, with individual functioning parts (the family members). When one part isn’t functioning properly, it can throw off the entire unit.
Our therapists will work with your family to identify how specific behaviors affect others, discover new ways of understanding each other, and learn how to resolve conflicts with open and honest communication.
A few examples of areas where a family therapist can help:
- Custody Evaluation
- Sibling Conflict
- Adoption Counseling
- Parenting Support
Regardless of what is happening within your family, we are here to support and facilitate growth and understanding between everyone to create a stronger tomorrow.
